Welcome to our Gifted Education Program for 7th-12th grade students, where we empower elite learners to reach new altitudes in their educational expedition. Our program is designed to inspire curiosity, foster advanced skills, and build on each student’s unique talents. AHCCS’ Gifted Education Program aligns with the Pennsylvania Code, Chapter 16, the legal framework for Gifted Education. Through accelerated coursework, innovative online enrichment opportunities, transformative experiences, and personalized support, students gain the tools to excel academically and pursue their passions with confidence.

- Gifted Education Resource Teacher to support each student’s Gifted Education journey.
- Acceleration and enrichment opportunities tailored to each student’s individual needs.
- The Gifted Education Parent Advisory Committee empowers parent(s) and/or guardian(s) to be active partners in decision-making processes, offering valuable insights into the needs and challenges of gifted learners.
- Workshops to equip families with knowledge, tools, and strategies to support the academic, social, and emotional growth of gifted students while fostering collaboration between parents, students, and educators.
- Virtual & On-Site Field Trips enhance learning by providing immersive, interdisciplinary experiences that inspire critical thinking and future career exploration.
- Resources & Networking Opportunities to keep students and families informed and supported as they navigate the unique challenges and opportunities of gifted learning.
- Academic Competitions: We actively seek and share opportunities for our gifted students to participate in a variety of challenging competitions.
