High school graduation is not just a ceremony; it’s a celebration of years of hard work, growth, and unforgettable memories. Thank you for tuning in to this year’s Senior Spotlight Blog Series, and congratulations to the Class of 2024!
AHCCS graduating student, Sanaa Campbell, is looking forward to her future. In the fall, she will be attending a community college to earn her associate’s degree in environmental studies and then move on to a 4-year college to earn her bachelor’s degree. In the future, Sanaa aspires to become an Environmental Scientist.
Sanaa said, “What I am most excited about is being able to interact with my environment and grow more as a person.”
Sanaa has greatly enjoyed her time as a cyber student. She expressed feeling very comfortable at Achievement House and appreciated being able to talk to her teachers not only about her assignments but also about any personal struggles or accomplishments. Throughout her high school years, she developed confidence and the ability to advocate for herself both within school and outside of her academics. She has learned important communication skills to tell others what she needs help with.
She said, “I learned to advocate for myself with the help of my teachers and staff. They have helped me be more open and not as shy. I have grown into the person I am now and feel like I can be my own person.”
Sanaa attended Achievement House’s in-person graduation ceremony and enjoyed meeting her teachers and walking across the stage to receive her high school diploma.
She said, “I am excited not only to meet my teachers but also to know I conquered all of the struggles and hardships that I went through.”
