I decided that I wanted to be a teacher when I was very young. Some of my favorite memories from when I was a kid are when I would “teach” my brother and sister. We would play school and I always had to be the teacher. It was many years later when I was in college that I found my passion for special education. I find so much personal reward in working with and teaching kids.
Personal Bio
My husband and I have been married for 20 years. We have four daughters. Reese and Rylee are twins, and then Colibe and Caylah are Irish twins. The pride and joy of our family is our Yellow Lab, Yukon. We live just north of Pittsburgh in true and strong Steeler and Penguin country. We love to travel and camp in our camper that we tow. We spend one week every summer in Florida camping on the beach! Running has become one of my favorite ways to relax and clear my mind. I have run the Pittsburgh Half Marathon three times! My next goal is to complete a Run Disney Race.
