As the Truancy Re-Engagement Coach for AHCCS, I have the privilege to intervene in the lives of students and their families during a critical time in their educational journey with the aim of reigniting school engagement.
Personal Bio
I am committed to a life of service as well as to the importance of ensuring a strong educational foundation for all students. I am excited to utilize my knowledge in both fields of law and education as I fulfill my responsibilities as Truancy Re-engagement Coach here at AHCCS. I formerly held a similar role involving truancy remediation for the Philadelphia truancy court system. I took some time off on a fulltime basis in between then and now to focus solely on raising 3 children of my very own until all 3 reached school-age. Afterward, I returned to work and subsequently discovered my new home with AHCCS. I continue to be excited to work alongside students and families with the fervent aim to intervene positively in the prevention and remediation of truant behaviors. When not at work, I enjoy traveling, spending quality time with my husband and kids and driving around to explore new and unique local places of interest.
