Personal Bio
I’m happy to say that this is my first year at Achievement House Cyber Charter. I’ve been an educator for 4 years and I enjoy connecting mathematics to the real world. I think cyber education is important because it provides an opportunity for students to learn at their own pace. I always felt out of place when I attended school in my youth and it never was a comfortable place for me. I took an online geology course in college and was surprised with how much more I enjoyed the class. The onus was on me to learn and the distractions from a typical classroom were absent. To this day I remember more from that online geology course then I do from several years of brick and mortar education. It’s the main inspiration for me to leave the world of typical brick and mortar education and join the world of cyber.
I’m an avid gamer and have been so since childhood. I enjoy playing soccer, hiking, painting miniatures, and unashamedly binging on Netflix shows. I share my home with my fiancée and our dog, Milo.
