Achievement House Cyber Charter School offers a gifted education program for Pennsylvania students who need more challenge than a one-size-fits-all curriculum. The program uses Individualized Gifted Education Plans (GIEPs) under Chapter 16 of the Pennsylvania Department of Education and supports both acceleration and enrichment in a flexible cyber setting.
Achievement House is small by design where students are seen, known, and heard. The program is built for learners who want to progress faster, think deeper, and achieve more.

Our Gifted Education Coordinator is a former gifted student and an experienced educator in both traditional and online environments. She understands gifted learners — their ambition, creativity, hyperfocus, perfectionism, and challenges such as procrastination, anxiety, or feeling out of place.

Research shows that acceleration is one of the most effective strategies for gifted learners. Many schools lean on enrichment alone because of logistics. Achievement House’s cyber model makes it easier to combine acceleration and enrichment for each student’s strengths:

- Pursue personalized academic pathways — live classes or independent study.
- Turn passions into academic credit — a tailored gifted enrichment project that earns real credit.

Why wait until high school graduation to earn college credits? Achievement House offers options that can put students ahead:
- Dual enrollment — take a college course each semester and earn high school and college credit. No GIEP required.
- We cover the tuition — you only pay for books and fees.
- AP courses — rigorous coursework to prepare for AP exams and earn college credit, available to all. Several new AP courses are offered this year.
Dual enrollment or AP? You can do both
Students can pursue dual enrollment and AP; they are not forced to choose only one path.
Beyond academics: real-world skills and hands-on learning
Education should equip students for the future. Achievement House provides courses and experiences for all students (gifted or not) that build real-world skills:
- Microsoft certification courses — recognized industry credentials.
- First Aid/CPR certification — through a partnership with the American Red Cross.
- Virtual makerspace — submit designs for 3D printing, Cricut projects, posters, buttons, and more, delivered to your home at no cost.
- Student clubs — aviation, esports, photography, book clubs, and more in a moderated virtual environment.
- Apprenticeships, internships, mentorships, field experiences, and job shadowing — discover careers by doing.
